Just had to give an update on my Amazon order.....and no I don't have shares in the company given the plugs I have given them in my last two posts.
When my parcel was delivered, the two ends of the package were undone, and on checking the contents I found that a small book was missing. I e-mailed Amazon last night to let them know, and early this morning received an e-mail to apologise for the missing item and to say that a replacement had been dispatched, now how is that for service!
The last time I contacted them was when my son's playstation broke, just days within the end of 12 month warrantly period, again a new one was dispatched the next day, along with a label so that I didn't have to pay return postage for the broken one
Well done folks and I think you could teach a few companies a thing or two about how to treat their customers. Amazon doesn't have anywhere for customers to post comments, so thought I would publish my thanks via my blog.

I've never realised that there is not a comments page on amazon, so good for you in posting your praise here. I love those brown cardboard parcels arriving and the wonderful smell of the new books inside...ah! Browsing through your wonderful collection of Christmas books, I am very envious indeed and inspired too. You obviously have a good eye for a lovely craft/cook book. Enjoy your creativity! Denise.
Good for you - we are quick to complain, but should also be quick to praise, imho. You can't beat good customer service - it means so much. x
YOu've certainly got some great books recently from Amazon, most of them are on my wishlist! Their service (and prices) are great aren't they!
