Looking out of the living room window...oh look at all those leaves that need picking up, what a shame it is too wet :0(
The garden is looking very bare at the moment, I was looking at the gorgeous photos on Sally Anne's blog, and was really envious of the colours of summer.
So while making a nice cup of tea, I gazed at the Cyclamen I have bought to give some colour to the kitchen.
I love these flowers and the colours....can't wait until I can add some Poinsettias to my little indoor garden, I just love them.
My Christmas Cactus has got it's months a bit wrong this year, and already has plenty of blooms, the trouble with this is that by Christmas it will all be over.
I absolutely love the delicate blooms, they remind me of dancing fairies...I know, a vivid imagination!
Nature is wonderful isn't it, when the garden is bare and it is too cold and wet to enjoy the outside anyway, she gives us a beautiful array of wonderous colour that we can enjoy inside where we are mostly forced to spend out time.Sat back and enjoyed the Rugby...shame England lost! Then the wonderful Merlin, and lastly Strictly come dancing....was anyone else amazed by Cherie Lunghi's legs, fantastic for someone of her age, or any age actually!
....Sunday was not quite so relaxing. No 2 was playing rugby 30 miles away, no problem we thought until we found that an accident has closed the motorway and we had to make a detour. A journey of 30 mins ended up in well over an hour sitting in a traffic jam.....what are so many people doing on the road at 10 am on a Sunday morning?! Still his team won by 51 points to 10 so that made up for it. No 1 was refereeing a match much closer to home, and text me at the end of the game to say that it was torrential rain all the way through and he was soaked, so I'm glad No 2 wasn't playing at home. Neither of the lads seems in the slightest bit put of by the wet or cold when it comes to their beloved game, give me the cold to the rain anyday.

That sounds like a lovely relaxing day by the fire! Sometimes it's nice to be able to just gaze out of the window for a while, isn't it?! We managed to sweep up some leaves on Sunday, but they were very soggy.
Yes, the rugby can take over your weekend can't it! My son is only 11, but we still have the pile of muddy rugby kit every sunday morning!

Thank you for the ward.....I'll pass it on....I've added your name as giver to the award on my blog
Have a good dayxxxxxx
Thanks for the award - I will blog it in my end-of-month round up, if that's ok?
I love to have plants on the kitchen windowsill - it's horrible if I don't have any. I also love Christmas Cacti - so pretty.
My No.2's footie game got cancelled last weekend - waterlogged pitch. I must admit, I wasn't sorry.
